Drug Crime Attorney in Miami

Attorney Profile: David Seltzer

Attorney David Seltzer was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and this is where he spent most of his childhood and adolescence. It was in the late '90s that David made his way to Towson, Maryland to study business and pre-law at Goucher College. After graduating from the undergrad program, David took some time off from school to work as a paralegal in New York City where he served a major role on a products liability lawsuit that was being litigated at the time. It was at the conclusion of his time in New York City that David then made the move to Lansing, Michigan to attend Thomas M. Cooley Law School for his graduate education.

After two successful semesters in Michigan, David left as a top honors student in the first ten percent of his class. At the University of Miami School of Law, David ultimately completed his education, receiving a Juris Doctorate degree in 2004. Both during and after his graduate education at the University of Miami, Mr. Seltzer worked at the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, first as an intern and then as a full-time employee upon completion of his education. It was during this time that David gained a good deal of his experience in criminal law, as he worked closely on a number of cases, including matters connected to drug trafficking and various degrees of drug offenses in the state of Florida.

Once assigned to act as a cyber crimes prosecutor, Mr. Seltzer really got insight into the way that criminal law prosecutions work. It is the knowledge and insight that was gained during this crucial period of David's career that are now applied to the criminal defense and drug crime cases that he handles in his own practice. In court, David has proven that he is a force to be reckoned with, aggressively trying to victory a number of the cases he has represented during his years as a legal defender. Out of court, Mr. Setltzer is equally effective in his methods and strategies, acting as a firm negotiator on behalf of the clients he serves day in and day out.
